About Ham

     Ham Jones in this instance, is actually a fictional character, created a more than a decade ago. 
     He was indeed a legendary picker and also played some very mean Delta Blues.  Not much is known about his personal life, his origins or his death. In fact he may still be alive.

Who We Are

The guitar builder, founder of Ham Jones Guitars, and  creator of the Ham Junior is Rick Weaver.  Born and raised in North Carolina.  A guitar player since age 12, and lifelong woodworker, he enjoys the hell out of taking raw materials and building a piece of art.

 History

Rick began in 2005 learning some repair skills and in 2006 built his first guitar while attending a guitar construction class presented by Martin Guitars.  He has since built. and repaired many guitars and also donated three Ham Junior guitars to Wounded Warriors in Raleigh, NC for music therapy.  Rick works from home near Concord N.C.  Please contact us via email for more information.  We prefer to have in=person buyers of course and would be happy to set up a meeting.  All instruments are hand made and Factory-Free.

Policy:              Instruments are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials and workmanship forever to the original owner. Ham Jones Guitars will correct, free of charge any defect resulting from faulty materials and/or workmanship, providing return has been authorized. Shipping, to Ham Jones Guitars, in Concord, N C in both directions, will be the responsibility of the owner. Limited warranty does not cover repairs necessitated by normal wear, misuse, accidental damage, finish degradation, action and truss rod adjustments, fret wear, and/or damage caused by exposure to extreme changes in temperature, humidity and other natural elements.
Any physical alterations to the instrument will void this warranty.
